Since 1981, the F-5 Tiger II gate guard has been located at RAF Alconbury.
In recent years, its started to look tired and faded, with some TLC needed.
There was a possibility that the F-5 could be lost.
After a year of discussion and hard work on all fronts, we are very pleased to announce that the RAF Sculthorpe Heritage Centre will be the new home of the F-5 gate guard.
Sculthorpe was used by the 527th Aggressor Squadron for "Gas and go" training during the late 1970s/80s.
This a great step forward for us and we need your support.
We have gofund me below which will help us move and restore the F-5 back to its former glory
